GPT Store

The easiest way to use Hype Doc with ChatGPT is through our custom GPT.

1. Open the GPT Store

   In ChatGPT, click Explore GPTs in the sidebar, then search for “Hype Doc”.

2. Start a conversation

   Click “Hype Doc” and start chatting. The GPT has built-in access to your Hype Doc account.

3. Authorize

   On first use, you will be prompted to connect your Hype Doc account via OAuth.

4. Start using it

   Ask: “Log a win: Led the quarterly planning session and got buy-in on the new roadmap”

MCP (Desktop App)

If you prefer to connect via MCP in ChatGPT Desktop:

1. Open ChatGPT settings

   In ChatGPT Desktop, go to Settings → MCP Servers.

2. Add Hype Doc

   Click “Add MCP Server” and enter:

   • Name: hypedoc
   • URL: https://app.myhypedoc.com/mcp

3. Authorize

   When you first use a Hype Doc tool, your browser will open to complete OAuth authorization.

4. Start using it

   Ask: “Log a win: Led the quarterly planning session and got buy-in on the new roadmap”
