MCP Store

Install Hype Doc from Windsurf’s built-in MCP Store.

1. Open the MCP Store

   In Windsurf, click the Plugins icon in the sidebar (or go to Settings → Cascade → MCP Servers) and browse the MCP Store.

2. Install Hype Doc

   Search for “Hype Doc” and click Install.

3. Authorize

   When you first use a Hype Doc tool, your browser will open to complete OAuth authorization.

4. Start using it

   In Windsurf’s chat, ask: “Log a win: Migrated the database with zero downtime”

Manual MCP

Configure the MCP server manually.

1. Open Windsurf settings

   Go to Windsurf → Settings → MCP or press Cmd+Shift+P and search “MCP”.

2. Add the Hype Doc server

   Add the following to your ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json:

3. Authorize
